Anshu Anand, Esq.

Anshu is a Partner at Musillo Unkenholt, where she has been practicing immigration law since joining the firm as an Associate Attorney in 2012. Her practice focuses on business immigration, with particular experience in the healthcare, information technology, and staffing industries.

Before joining MU, Anshu served as an International Student and Scholar Coordinator at the University of Louisville. In that role, she ensured compliance with the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) for F and J nonimmigrant populations and advocated for international students by serving on various university committees.

Anshu earned her J.D. from the University of Louisville, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, in 2008. During law school, she interned at the Center for Women & Families: Division of Immigrant & Non-Immigrant Services, where she supported VAWA self-petitions and U visa filings on behalf of domestic violence survivors. She was also a valuable resource for international students and scholars across the university and its affiliates, providing guidance on a broad range of visa-related matters.

As an immigrant herself, Anshu brings both personal insight and professional dedication to her work. Immigration law has been the central focus of her career, and she remains deeply committed to serving and advocating for the immigrant community. She is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
